No matter the day or the race, it feels great to end it feeling positive and productive. To be productive is easy. Just create a simple plan and take action.

- Get up an hour earlier. Enjoy the quiet dawn. Meditate.
- Fail to plan and plan to fail. Plan your week on Sunday evenings and plan your day the night before.
- Simplify. Don’t overcrowd your To Do list. Prioritize it with three items, and say No to tasks that get in your way.
- Focus. Know The Next Step at the end of every meeting.
- Recharge: Every 90 minutes, take a break and do something active – walk, 10 push-ups, stretch.
- Hydrate.
- Food is energy. Energize with healthy snacks: almonds, hummus and vegies, fresh fruit, a protein shake, tomato and feta cheese.
- Say good-bye. People who sap your energy can go bye-bye.
- Don’t get distracted. Turn off e-mail alert on your phone.
- Do it. If a task can be done in less than 2 minutes, do it and do it again.
