Passion

Passion is elusive this morning.  No, no no — I haven’t lost my drive for life.  Rather, I’m writing a book, working on a chapter titled, “Passion”, and struggling with how to verbalize the feeling. My words seemed so boring.  Then I read this quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson, and wanted to share it with you.

Passion is one of the most powerful engines of success. When you do a thing, do it with all your might. Put your whole soul into it. Stamp it with your own personality. Be active, be energetic and faithful, and you will accomplish your object. Nothing great was ever achieved without passion.

Need more inspiration?  Then watch this rare video of Helen Keller and Anne Sullivan. They share a story of how Helen learned how to speak.  We all have passion for something, and by discovering how to express it we’ll have confidence to jump in and pursue it.  Make your day productive.
