It Pays To Be Good

Good news!  Yesterday I discovered FitSmallBusiness added my community engagement idea to a list of real estate marketing ideas.  What makes me most happy is that the insight might encourage other real estate pros to do the same.

My favorite marketing advice is to embrace community engagement. For example, in May and June we’ll host two free community paper shred events. One will be in Los Alamitos, CA and the other in Brea, CA. The event reduces paper in the landfill and it helps people reduce identity theft.

To help spread the word, our agents farm various neighborhoods with flyers and door hangers.  People can shred up to five boxes of paper for free (it’s about a $100 savings).
