Ways to be productive

    No matter the day or the race, it feels great to end it feeling positive and productive.  To be productive is easy. Just create a simple plan and take action.

    Here are a few tips to get you started.

    Top 10 Ways to Be Productive

    1. Get up an hour earlier.  Enjoy the quiet dawn. Meditate.
    2. Fail to plan and plan to fail.  Plan your week on Sunday evenings and plan your day the night before.
    3. Simplify.  Don’t overcrowd your To Do list.  Prioritize it with three items, and say No to tasks that get in your way.
    4. Focus. Know The Next Step at the end of every meeting.
    5. Recharge: Every 90 minutes, take a break and do something active – walk, 10 push-ups, stretch.
    6. Hydrate.
    7. Food is energy. Energize with healthy snacks: almonds, hummus and vegies, fresh fruit, a protein shake, tomato and feta cheese.
    8. Say good-bye. People who sap your energy can go bye-bye.
    9. Don’t get distracted. Turn off e-mail alert on your phone.
    10. Do it.  If a task can be done in less than 2 minutes, do it and do it again.
